Job Summary

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Expeditor/Storekeeper will ensure prompt delivery of materials and services by communicating with vendors and department heads on the status of critical orders and eliminating difficulties and delays. The Expeditor/Storekeeper will ensure Central Supply and Departments are properly stocked and organized.

Responsibilities

•    Facilitating the flow of materials to and from various departments.
•    Ensures supplies in departments and central supply are well stocked and organized.
•    Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
•    Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt as needed.
•    Unload packages from incoming trucks.
•    Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
•    Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.).
•    Complete inventory counts as required.
•    Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
•    Work as a team with the Materials Management Staff.
•    Deliveries to affiliated clinics and skilled nursing facilities located offsite.
•    All other duties as needed or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities 

•    Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
•    Basic math and recording abilities.
•    Excellent organizational skills.
•    Great communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education & Experience

•    High School Graduate or equivalent.
•    One year of expediting experience is preferred. 

Job Type: Per-Diem, Variable Shift

Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 hourly
