Position Summary

Works closely with clinicians across all hospital/ healthcare departments to optimize effective use of systems. Coordinates analytical support for health management, including profiling, health economics, and business analytics/performance metrics. Performs quality assurance testing of complex scope, runs SQL (Structured Query Language) queries for enhanced medical data access, and writes and maintains appropriate documentation of design and deployment processes, workflows, and result.  Performs above in accordance with the Patient Safety and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) Acts, The Joint commission (TJC) and other regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides clients with general directions to improve application processing and to resolve problems.
  • Prepares project status and related reports.
  • Programming ability in SQL.
  • Develops and/or assists with analysis and design of custom queries, screens and forms to support proposed work processes.
  • Analyze and triage existing NPR and/or SSRS reports; identification of new reports that may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information System or equivalent experience.
  • Individual must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in Information Systems or Information Management function with an emphasis in Clinical application support.
  • Experience with Meditech Client Server strongly preferred.
  • Strong project and vendor management skills required. Must possess strong customer service and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift

Pay: $37-$50/hour
